THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF EDUCATION IN BRAZIL

Prof. Dr. Rubens Lacerda de Sá, from the Federal University of Lavras spoke during the opening of the International Education Week about the ‘Internationalization of Education in Brazil: Faces and (Inter)Faces’.

The International Academic Coordinator, Prof. Marisa Espíndola, spoke about the internationalization process in UniEVANGÉLICA. The rector of the University Center, Dr. Carlos Hassel Mendes, also mentioned the advancements of internationalization in the institution.

During the talk, Dr. Rubens Lacerda spoke about the need of investing in internationalization of Brazilian education. “It’s necessary that the concern about education is also directed to the interaction with other cultures, politics and economies in the world”, he said.

Prof. Rubens Lacerda emphasized that in the modern world, with the internationalization process, the contact with other cultures and countries has increased. “With professors involved in the area of education, this internationalization is carried out through the sharing of teaching, studies and research that contribute to knowledge and development of higher education institutions”, he completed”.

The professor also mentioned the internationalization process In UniEVANGÉLICA and congratulated the institution for this initiative.
