UniEVANGÉLICA received, on October 2nd, a visit from representatives of the University of Victoria, Canada, a partner institution of the International Affairs Center – NAI for Language Exchange.
Jacqueline Prowse and Roberto Atihé toured the University Center and lectured on the international academic opportunities for students of Law and Psychology courses. They also met with the rector of UniEVANGÉLICA, Carlos Hassel Mendes.
Dr. Prowse has been to Brazil three times, but visited Anápolis for the first time and said that she is now getting to know “real” Brazil, unlike big cities such as São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She also spoke about the importance of language learning. “English is the international language, and I think it’s very important for students to learn so they can get better employment opportunities and also so they can communicate with people from all over the world,” she said.
