Professor Gino Bertollucci Colheirinhas of the Mechanical Engineering course will carry out a year of his PhD studies at the Università di Roma La Sapienza in Rome in Italy as of August of this year. Gino is currently a doctorate student in Mechanical Sciences from the University of Brasília and will receive a scholarship from CAPES, a federal government agency.
The teacher will be work alongside professors Franco Bontempi and Francesco Petrini at La Sapienza, one of the best in the world in the area of technology and will continue his studies in control of vibrations in wind turbines.
Gino said that the idea came after meeting Professor Bontempi at a congress and receiving an invitation to work together. “I decided to formalize this bond by asking for help for CAPES and participating in the selection process”, he said.
The teacher sees that this opportunity can contribute to knowledge and the growth of UniEVANGÉLICA. “It is not only the specific gain related to the research, there is a great gain in the link with other scientists who are reference in the area, we can maintain this contact between UnB, La Sapienza and UniEVANGÉLICA”, stressed the professor.
