The students of Medical School of University Center of Anápolis – UniEVANGÉLICA, Ana Cristina Pires Thomé, Rachel Isaac de Almeida and Taynara Barros Alves, traveled to Friendship County, Wisconsin, USA. Before they met with the Rector of the University Center, Dr. Carlos Hassel Mendes, with the Academic Coordinator of International Affairs Center – NAI, Prof. Marisa Mota Espíndola and with the International Academic Affairs Support, Talita Lopes, for the last information before travel.
The Internship in Medical Clinic is an opportunity for improvement and international experience for students of Medical School. The Rector, Dr. Carlos Hassel Mendes points out that the international internship is a “very special moment in the life of a student” because it allows professional and personal growth for the students of our institution, the Academic Coordinator of International Affairs Center – NAI , Prof. Marisa Mota Espíndola, reiterates that students will “participate in the Internship in Medical Clinic, which expands technical language and is an opportunity of experience in US hospitals.”
Ana Cristina, student of 9th period, says she intends to “use all learning to consolidate a medical practice based on excellence and brotherhood”. The students will return from the internship on February 28th.
This internship is the result of an agreement between the University Center of Anápolis – UniEVANGÉLICA through the Academic Coordination of International Affairs Center – NAI, and Moundview Memorial Hospital and Clinics, Friendship County (WI), USA, which provides new International opportunities for students of Medical School.
