Prof. Mariane Morato Stival, Supervisor of Simulated Law Activities Center of UniEVANGÉLICA, was accepted at the University of Paris I-Sorbonne, France, to complete the doctorate and conducting research activities involving Human Rights and International Law. Professor underwent an evaluation involving the contents of the program and a language test and obtained confirmation of acceptance by the Department of International Law, European and Comparative of the Doctoral Program of that University.

During this time, she participated in research in three French institutions: the European Court of Human Rights, located in Strasbourg, Aix-Marseille University in southern France and University Paris I.
In France, Prof. Mariane did studies in International Law, Human Rights, European Law and Comparative Law. “This experience was very important to me because the European system of Human Rights is a world reference. The jurisprudence of this Court is now the most frequently cited by most courts in the world. And this possibility accepted for completion of the Doctorate there will be even more enriching and enables the possibility of realization of the Post-Doctoral there, “she says.
Mariane Stival still don’t know when she will leave for Paris, but don’t want to go this year. Acceptance is open for the next two years. It may be six months to two years in France. “It’s hard to find anyone in our state that has achieved this acceptance in that particular area of International Human Rights Law at Sorbonne. I know a few, but in other areas. It is very important to study Comparative Law. Certainly this experience will bring contributions to Brazil, “she says.
The teacher also emphasizes the importance of International Affairs Center – NAI in this process. “The NAI followed everything closely, gave support and was always open for me. I think that acceptance can open doors to enlarge NAI’s activities in Europe, “she concludes.
