Language Center – UniEVANGÉLICA received three new Chinese teachers: Zhang Mingmin – also known as Violet, Zhu Junhui – known as Crystal, and Wang Qiushi. The presence of teachers was made possible by a partnership of Academic Coordination of International Affairs Center – NAI – UniEVANGÉLICA with Institute Confucius.
Teachers were presented officially to the Rector of UniEVANGÉLICA, Carlos Mendes Hassel, during a ceremony which was attended by the Academic Coordinator of International Affairs Center – NAI, Prof. Marisa Espíndola and Academic Provost, Prof. Marcelo Mello.
“This is the first time I travel to another country. Chose Brazil because of the Olympic Games, “said Zhang Mingmin. She also said that Brazil is a beautiful country and that Brazilians are very kind.
Wang also talked about the importance of knowing another culture. “For me, the big difference between Chinese students and Brazilian students is that the Chinese are more industrial and Brazilians are more creative,” he said.
Zhu Junhui spent a year in Recife and talked about some Brazilian habits. “Here, when people greet each other, they like to give a big hug and a kiss on the cheek,” she joked.
Chinese classes – Classes are held from Monday to Friday, from 17 to 19 hours and on Saturdays from 08 to 11 and from 14 to 17 hours. At each level, the vocabulary and the development of sentences capacity increase. Interested students may also do HSK test authorized by Chinese Government to verify their knowledge of Chinese language.
