Founded four years ago, the Local Coordination for Internships and Experiences – CLEV aims to encourage Brazilian student to participate in exchange experiences, and provide scientific expertise, enable cultural exchange and insert the medical student on global health context.
CLEV is an integral part of the medicine student union and from two years has been working with the International Affairs Center – NAI and from there, great partnerships were signed. “All documentation and necessary support, communication with other sectors of the course and related institutions are made by NAI”, explains one of the coordinators of CLEV, Annah Rachel Graciano, who attends the 9th period of Medicine.
The expectation for this year is that eleven students will be sent to international institutions and also that eleven students from other countries will be received at UniEVANGÉLICA University Center of Anápolis.
“Through NAI we can document these Internships according to the rules of our institution, and require strict documentary control of exchange student’s national or international Internship. Thus, the student travels with a Handbook for frequency control, and in the end is evaluated by the teacher where he/she staged”, she explains.
Three other medical students also work in CLEV: Beatriz Carvalho, Caio Mendanha and Kaio Corredeira.
