From 28th to 30th March 2016, the University Center of Anápolis – UniEVANGÉLICA received its 1st International Academic Exchange Fair of the institution, an event that counted with the presence of various international organizations. Sponsored by the International Academic Coordination, the initiative is a unique opportunity for students of the University Center of Anápolis and the local community to know the main academic and language exchange programs currently offered.
The launching ceremony of the Fair was held on Monday, March 28th. The event counted with the participation of the Rector of the University Center of Anápolis – UniEVANGÉLICA, Prof. Carlos Hassel Mendes, the Academic Provost, Prof. Me. Marcelo Mello Barbosa, the International Academic Coordinator, Prof. Marisa Mota da Silva Espíndola, the 1st Secretary of the Evangelical Educational Association, Geraldo Henrique Ferreira Espíndola, the Managing Director of EEA, Lúcio Carlos C. Boggian, the Institutional Chaplain Heber Moreno, and Course Coordinators, Teachers, Students and external public.
Some booths were set up, in which representatives of international partners institutions presented the agreements with the University Center of Anápolis to participants. The public were able to know what were the main opportunities for students who want to go through an experience abroad.
The Fair was also a meeting point between institutions in Brazil and abroad that have established important international partnerships with UniEVANGÉLICA. The program included talks with representatives of various institutions of higher education.
Professor Marisa Mota da Silva Espíndola, International Academic Coordinator, spoke about the importance of the Fair: “We are making the presentation to the academic community and local community of UniEVANGÉLICA Exchanges, offering everyone the chance to improve and advance the learning of a second language “.
On March 22nd, an event was held in the International Affairs Center – NAI to present the event to the Academic community, with the participation of Provosts, Teachers, Course Coordinators and representatives of partner travel agencies.
