About the Program

The Architecture and Urbanism program at UniEVANGÉLICA aims at the training of professionals of a higher education level, with the title of Architect and Urbanist, capable of performing the activities related to buildings, architectural ensembles, monuments, landscaping, interiors, physical, territorial and urban planning, and related services, acting in the supervision, coordination and technical orientation, study, planning, design and specification phases, assistance, advisory and consulting, construction management and technical service, survey, evaluation, arbitration, award and technical production, teaching, research, analysis, experimentation, testing, measurement and quality control, execution of work and technical service, inspection of work and technical service, technical and specialized production, conducting of installation team , Assembly, operation, repair or maintenance, execution of installation, assembly and repair, operation and maintenance of equipment and installation, execution of technical drawing.

The Architect and Urbanist graduated in UniEVANGÉLICA should have a profile of general practitioner, able to understand and translate the needs of individuals, social groups and community, in relation to the conception, organization and construction of outer and inner space, covering building, urbanism and the landscaping in the concepts of sustainability, as well as the conservation and valorization of the built heritage, protection of the balance of the natural environment and the rational use of available resources, oriented towards the architectural and urbanistic projection, in its broadest sense, and the attainment Of the complementary projects and execution of construction.

Curriculum

Final Paper

The Final Paper – TCC is an opportunity for the students of the last two semesters of the Architecture and Urbanism program to integrate their knowledge in a bibliographical research and in the presentation of the solution of a complex project that integrates Architecture and Urbanism. The Final Paper consists of stages, which are distributed throughout the 9th and 10th semesters.

Internship

The Architecture and Urbanism program of UniEVANGÉLICA requests a number of 240 hours to be fulfilled and these can be carried out within the same company or with the sum of hours worked in several companies. It is worth emphasizing that all the activities added must be within the field of action that the program empowers the student.

Extension Activities

Extension activities are important in the sense of developing the behavioral, political and social skills to consolidate the graduate profile desired by the Architecture and Urbanism program of UniEVANGÉLICA. They allow the recognition, by evaluation, of skills and competences of the graduate outside the academic environment, favoring the expansion, enrichment and contemporaneity of his / her curriculum with experiments and academic experiences external to the program.

Some of these activities are programmed technical trips, under the guidance of a professor, encompassing the knowledge of urban tracts, historical patrimony and legislation of nearby cities such as Goiânia, Brasília, Goiás, Pirenópolis, Goiás cities around the Federal District and Regions of expansion and urban growth like South, Southwest and Center-North of Goiás.

Research

The teaching methodology proposed by the Architecture and Urbanism program is concerned with the interaction between theory and practice, long before the beginning of the supervised internship, allowing the relationship between theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge to take place during the program.

With this in mind, from the first period, there are several opportunities for inclusion in research projects of the Institution through the scientific initiation programs (PIBIC / CNPQ), (PIBIC / UniEVANGÉLICA) PUIC e (PAPE – Research and Extension Assistance Program), besides multidisciplinary extension projects.
